As part of its ongoing campaign for emergency humanitarian response, The National Bank provided urgent humanitarian relief support in the form of aid to displaced families and those affected by the war in the northern governorates of the West Bank, through staff from Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas. The support included meeting basic daily food needs and providing food supplies to help in alleviating the suffering amid the difficult humanitarian conditions.
Reem Anani, Head of Public Relations at TNB, emphasized that this initiative was part of a series of emergency humanitarian relief interventions that TNB had initiated since the beginning of the war. She noted that thanks to such contributions, TNB became the second-largest Palestinian bank contributing to social responsibility by the end of 2024. Anani emphasized that TNB continued to focus on emergency humanitarian relief, whether in the Gaza Strip or in the affected governorates of the West Bank.
It is worth noting that TNB has launched numerous humanitarian initiatives in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the year to alleviate the suffering of families affected by the war. Such initiatives include meeting the basic and vital needs of people amid very difficult circumstances, and launching a sustainable program approved by the Ministry of Education to support supplementary education programs for children in Gaza, ensuring they enjoy their right to education despite the existing challenges.
