National Bank Launches "Start It Right" Banking Education Program for Students

The National Bank launched the first permanent banking education program called "Start It Right," targeting school students and raising financial and banking awareness among the youth to promote their financial inclusion. The program aims to provide students with basic financial knowledge and skills that allow them to make sound financial decisions professionally and academically.

The program's first phase targets 16 eleventh-grade students from Friends and Al Mustaqbal Schools, with the next phase set to expand to include a larger number of schools and students.

The program focuses on financial planning, savings, and the basics of banking awareness. Its content is interactive and combines theoretical explanations with practical activities, ensuring an enjoyable and beneficial learning experience.

Reem Anani, Head of Public Relations at TNB, said that this program aligned with TNB’s role in raising financial and banking awareness among young people, focusing on school students and their future need to interact with banks and manage their money. Anani emphasized that empowering students with an understanding of the basics of financial management at an early age would produce a financially and banking-aware generation capable of promoting financial inclusion in Palestine and contributing to building a better economic future.

It is worth noting that the program includes four intensive weeks and is provided by experienced and specialized managers from several TNB departments. Upon completion, students will receive certificates from TNB.
