Job Title: IT Governance and Project Management  
Direct Manager: CTO

Identification 

  • Technical and administrative supervision of the professional service Department
  • Participation and follow-up in development projects, digital transformation projects and software and application development.
  • Participating and contributing to the operational processes of information technology and providing logistical and technical support to the Bank in various departments and branches.
  • Participating and contributing to the necessary studies, analysis, and recommendations by the Department of Information Technology, to improve the bank's work and provide the best in the world of banking programs, technologies, and systems

Duties and Responsibly 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a project management scope of work and detailed plan to deliver the required solutions
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule and project budget
  • Manage interdependencies between projects, address delicate situations and handle conflicts
  • clarify the roles for the Business team and the Technical team members to this project
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Identify problems and obstacles that may delay the implementation of projects and systems within the specified time plan and submit a report to the CTO
  • Monitor and track closely the project progress to ensure activities are kept on time
  • Ensure project governance, processes and templates are followed and complied with Bank’s Policies and procedures
  • Provide status reporting to senior management against milestones & budget, including any issues or risks identified
  • Document any identified required changes and communicate them to the relevant parties, Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Implementing Project closure procedure
  • Oversee development and maintenance of information security policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Document, monitor, and report on exceptions to security policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Oversee thorough documentation of lessons learned from penetration and self-assessment exercises and lead implementation of targeted, continuous improvements.
  • analysis the internal and external auditors' reports related to the department's work, responding to them, and following up addressing problems and observations to prevent their recurrence in the future, in coordination with CTO
  • Supervising the proper implementation of the required projects and submitting reports and recommendations to CTO.
  • Prepare department's policies and procedures
  • Manage department activities and following up on achievements.
  • Submit report on the department's achievements to CTO.
  • Participating in the preparation and implementation of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and the Crisis Management Plan (CMP).
  • Participating in the development Business Continuity Plans (BCP) that contain procedures for resuming work in the event of an emergency and develop and review them periodically
  • Ensuring that the bank’s policies and procedures compliance with PMA and regulatory instruction.
  • Evaluation of staff performance 
  • Continuous evaluation of the department's tasks to ensure distribution, workflow, and good performance according to policies and in coordination with CTO
  • Ensure that the daily operations conducted to the approved policies and procedures.
  • Study the available alternatives from employees on an ongoing basis with the aim of providing the replacement employee for all the basic jobs in the various sections to maintain the permanence of the work
  • Any other tasks assigned by direct supervisor 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Information Technology/ Computer Science or any related discipline with 15 years of experience in the banking field
  • or Master of Information Technology/ Computer Science or any related discipline with 12 years of experience in banking

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
