TNB provides gold sponsorship to the Jenin Shopping Festival 2022

The National Bank (TNB) announced that it would provide gold sponsorship for the Jenin Shopping Festival 2022, which was launched today from Jenin. The festival is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of 85 Palestinian companies from various sectors that presented their products and services to visitors and shoppers. The festival was opened by the Governor of Jenin, Major General Akram Rajoub, the President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Omar Hashem, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jenin, Ammar Abu Bakr, and a number of official figures. The inaugural ceremony was attended by TNB Chief Retail Banking Officer Ayman Dahadha, and a number of managers and employees.

In its special pavilion at the festival, TNB displayed a range of its national banking products and services, including its latest campaign "Take a loan today and pay back in 2023". The campaign provides different types of retail loans such as personal loans, housing loans, house improvement loans, and car loans, which offer preferential interest rates and commissions. TNB also presented its remote account opening service, which is the first digital service of its kind offered by a Palestinian bank. It allows Palestinians to open current accounts electronically from anywhere and at any time therefore contributing to financial inclusion.

The Chief Executive Officer of TNB, Salameh Khalil, said that sponsoring this large economic event in Jenin stems from the bank’s social and national responsibility to support local national products of an increasingly good quality, to the extent that they now compete with international products. He explained that this event was an important marketing opportunity to promote sales in local companies and encourage citizens to opt for local industries. This helps in boosting economic sectors and contributes to the development of the Palestinian national economy.

It is worth noting that many activities will be held on the sidelines of the festival, including music events, performances and children's games. It is expected that 50 to 60 thousand people will visit the festival in its four days from various regions of the West Bank. The festival is open every day until Sunday 19/6/2022 from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
