Nowadays, owning a bank account is a necessity, regardless of one’s occupation or monthly income. For this reason, and in accordance with the instructions of the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA), The National Bank includes among their portfolio the “Financial Inclusion Account”; for individuals with a limited monthly income, or self-employed individuals, who can benefit through this account from TNB services with easy terms and with zero commission, in addition to carrying out basic banking transactions, without any additional obligations, commissions or fees.

What are people asking?

The Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA) has determined the beneficiaries of this account which as: limited-income individuals, freelancers, or individuals working with online international platforms, in addition to any individual whose total bank transactions do not exceed $2,000 per month or $12,000 per year.

The financial inclusion account is designed for limited-income individuals or self-employed individuals, or any individual whose total bank transactions do not exceed $2,000 per month or $12,000 per year. As for TNB current accounts, any individual whose income and total bank transactions exceed the limit specified above can benefit from them. The Financial Inclusion Account services are also limited compared to TNB current accounts, as the owners of the Financial Inclusion Account cannot issue a check book, or credit card, or obtain a financial loan.

The account will be transformed into a current account if its monthly transactions exceed the maximum limit 6 times within one year, or if the transactions exceed the annual maximum limit two times within a year. 

All accounts can be opened in the following currencies:
Israeli Shekel, Jordanian Dinar, US Dollar, European Euro.
