As part of the National Savings Program, the National Bank (TNB) revealed the winner of the first jackpot. Marie Geryes Massaad, a customer holding a savings account at Al Ersal branch, won a house that was registered in her name at Al Rayhan neighborhood, an ecofriendly car, and a monthly salary of USD 500.00 for a period of 10 years.

TNB’s executive management team surprised the winner and her family by handing her the prize of a lifetime in a joyful atmosphere. Mrs. Massaad is an employee in a Ramallah establishment and a mother of three. Her eldest is a university student, while her second son will soon be in university, and the youngest is a school student. She deposited her end-of-service gratuity in a “Hayati” savings account for settling her sons’ tuition fees. 

Commenting on the win, Massaad stated: “This prize has changed my life. Everyone dreams of having a house to ensure their stability. As for us, we were thinking of applying for a loan for building our house. We also consider the car to be essential, while the salary will help us settle my sons’ university tuition fees.”

Salameh Khalil, TNB’s Chief Executive Officer, congratulated the winner. He noted that the jackpot of the savings accounts campaign is the largest for such campaigns in the country. Through this prize, TNB will secure the future of savers and ensure more safety and stability for their families. He mentioned that the National Savings Program features countless prizes, and that another draw will be held at the end of the year, where a second jackpot (a house, salary, and car) will be granted to another winner. 

Ayman Dahadha, Chief Retail Banking Officer, stated that existing and new customers still have high chances at winning, where remaining prizes still amount to millions. He invited everyone to benefit from the program and increase their chances to win valuable prizes.

Many valuable prizes still await TNB’s customers as part of the Savings Campaign: 
•    Monthly cash prizes amounting to 100,000 Shekels;
•    One gold coin daily; 
•    Two gold ounces, to be awarded to two winners weekly; and
•    A second jackpot (a house, monthly salary, and car) to be awarded to another winner by yearend).

The campaign will be held until the end of 2023. Existing and new customers of TNB, holding a savings account (whether a Hayati, Khatwati, or National Savings Account) with a minimum deposit of USD 200, can benefit from this campaign, where every additional USD 200 will grant them another chance at winning.
