The National Bank’s Green Lending Program comes as part of its collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) through its Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF), with the aim of supporting the transition towards a sustainable economy and financing projects that contribute to environmental protection and improved efficiency in the use of resources and energy.
The program also aims to promote green investments by providing concessional financing, technical services, and financial incentives for projects that help reduce emissions and improve the efficiency of energy, water, and natural resource consumption.
Program Features:
- Financing in multiple currencies: US Dollar, Israeli Shekel, Euro, and Jordanian Dinar.
- Financing limit: up to EUR 2,000,000 per project.
- Substantial financial incentives ranging between 10% and 25% of the financing amount.
Target Groups:
- Individuals and housing associations.
- Companies, service providers, vendors, and producers working in green sectors.
Types of Eligible Projects for Financing:
Financing includes projects in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy, water management, waste reduction, green buildings, soil protection, circular economy, as well as financing environmentally friendly electric and hybrid vehicles.
