Apple Pay is an easy, secure, and private way to make contactless payments in stores, online, and within apps using select Apple devices. You can use Apple Pay wherever contactless payments are accepted.

Apple Wallet is an application available on iPhone / Apple Watch / iPad / Mac devices that allows you to collect and manage your digital cards (debit and credit cards, prepaid cards, tickets, loyalty cards, and other cards like health insurance, student IDs, and access for hotels and clubs…).

Apple Pay uses Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology to make contactless mobile payments. NFC technology allows payment data to be transmitted wirelessly to payment terminals that have active NFC readers.

Yes, you can use Apple Pay online and within apps when you see Apple Pay as a payment option.

 Absolutely secure. Apple Pay does not send your actual card number when making a payment. Instead, a virtual card number is used in your account information to ensure the security of your card details. To complete any transaction, you must approve it using your Touch ID (fingerprint), Face ID (facial recognition), or your passcode.

Apple Pay uses several security features to ensure transaction security, such as:

• Every transaction made through Apple Pay requires approval using your Touch ID (fingerprint), Face ID (facial recognition), or your passcode, making it a safer way to pay compared to using a traditional credit or debit card.
• Your card numbers or personal information are not shared with merchants and points of sale.
• Your card numbers are not stored on your device or on Apple servers. Instead, Apple Pay uses a device-specific virtual number and a unique transaction code with every purchase.

If your device is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately at 1800111000 or the short number #862, so we can block your card in Apple Pay. We also recommend using the "Find My iPhone" app, which will allow you to access, lock, and erase information from your device.

The first card you add to Apple Wallet will be your default payment card. To change your default card, please follow these steps:

• On iPhone

• Open the Wallet app.
• Press and hold your finger on the card you want to set as your default card.
• Drag the card to the front of the cards in the Apple Pay section.

• On iPad / Mac

• From the Settings menu, tap on "Wallet & Apple Pay".
• Scroll down to "Default Transactions", then tap on "Default Card" and choose the card you want to set as your default.

• On Apple Watch

• Open the Apple Watch app on your paired iPhone.
• In the "My Watch" tab, tap on "Wallet & Apple Pay".
• Under "Default Transactions", tap on "Default Card", and choose the card you want to set as your default.

No, making a payment using Apple Pay does not require connecting to a Wi-Fi network or turning on cellular data. However, please note that you must be connected to the internet to register or deactivate your card in Apple Pay and to check the available balance/limit of the card.

The first card you add to Apple Pay will be your default payment card and will remain so unless you change it. To change your default card, please follow the instructions found under the FAQ "How can I manage my default card on Apple Pay?"

No, there are no fees for using Apple Pay.

All data on the device must be erased before disposing of it, and this includes deleting all cards you have added to Apple Pay.

Yes, you can use Apple Pay on multiple devices.

If you cancel an order for something you paid for using Apple Pay, the merchant may ask you to tap or hold your phone over the payment terminal to complete the return and refund process. Please speak directly with a sales representative at the store to refund the transaction amount.
