The National Bank participated in Green Expo 2025, organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), alongside dozens of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), financial institutions, and banks active in sustainability, renewable energy, and eco-innovation. The two-day expo, held at the Palestinian National Library in Surda, focuses on accelerating the transition toward a green and circular economy in Palestine.
The Bank took part through a dedicated booth showcasing its eco-friendly financing solutions for SMEs and micro-enterprises. These solutions include financing for renewable energy systems, improving resource-use efficiency, waste management, and projects that contribute to reducing carbon emissions and strengthening sustainable economic growth. The Bank offers preferential interest rates and cash back of up to 25% of the financing value, with a ceiling of up to EUR 2 million per enterprise.
Commenting on TNB’s contribution, Reem Anani, Public Relations Manager at TNB, said that Green Expo 2025 represents a unique opportunity for the Bank to network with green projects in Palestine, facilitate their access to green finance, and expand sustainable financing in the Palestinian market. She added that such participation also aligns with the Bank’s commitment to sustainability standards and its leadership in integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into its banking operations across all levels.
Green Expo 2025 provides a platform to showcase the latest technologies and services in the green economy, and serves as a forum for exchanging expertise between the financial sector, developers, and green projects, reflecting a deeper shift toward a more sustainable growth model in Palestine.
